I’ve always had a commercial brain & I’m motivated to help consumers make better, more informed, more relevant decisions. And modern consumerism is the best-funded social science in the world. It’s the Galapagos Islands of human weirdness. And I revel in attempting to crack the enigma of human code.

When you combine this with the fact that advertising agencies are one of the few remaining bastions allowing for the left-of-centre people in the world of business, there is really no other career I’d prefer to pursue. And digital allows us to develop experiments & hypotheses, test & learn from them in real-time. As the data is collected passively, its as true a signal as we can get. And when we get clear on these signals, aka, why people buy what they buy; we can use these insights to supercharge marketing.
